Rachel was a domestic violence advocate 5 years out of a violent relationship and married to a new husband when her ex-partner, Bruce Daniels, tracked her down, raping and beating her to death. Rachel's unborn baby died in the attack and her 12 year-old son, Tyler, committed suicide the following year. This is a heartbreaking story, but Rachel and Tyler live on through her site, now maintained by a friend.
