Pie Jesu by Sarah Brightman

When i was raped, i found myself to be clueless to the fact of what happend and how to get by. I didnt realize what had happend to me was considered rape and i was not aware that it was not my fault, since i instigated it and all. One day my mom had me go to Church, i spoke with one of the most amazing priests. Though i did not tell him really anything just the look on his face, the love i felt surround me, how comfy and less sure of myself that i felt has stuck with me. I find that with God as a part of your life while dealings with any type of trauma is by any means the best therapist in the world.
You are about to read many prayers that i like, that just fit many moments in our lives. If religion by chance triggers you then please be safe, yet know that you are not walking alone in this life.  As said quoted from that Footprints poem, "but God at the worst and most trying time in my life i only saw one set of footprints ,God said yes child it was then that i carried you."

"Mary is the arsenal of graces,
and she rushes to the aid of her children.
She sustains, strengthens, and renews them
by means of the heavenly
favors she heaps on them."
~St. Paulinus

"Jesus loves the little children...."
"Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him if a great millstone were put around his neck and he were thrown into the sea......"
~Mark 9 vs. 42

Dear God, I can no longer bear this pain alone. You know every feeling and secret locked in my heart. It is time, Lord, to open my heart and share my sufferings with those who can help me. Give me the courage to learn more about the sexual trauma that has so affected my life. Though I may not understand why this has happend to me, may I take comfort in the fact that I am not to blame, and realize that I am not the only person who has been abused in this way.
Guide me to find the faith and help I need to gain confidence in mind and body, develop trust in others, and experience hope for a happy, healthy life. Lord, I know that with Your love, my physical and emotional wounds will be healed. Amen.
 Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love. Where there is discord, union. Where there is doubt, faith. Where there is darkness, light. And where there is sadness, joy.
O Master, grant that i may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console; to be understood, as to understand; to be loved, as to love; for it is in giving that we receive. It is in pardoning that we are pardoned. And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

 Lord, help us to show respect for all life. Help us to have the compassion for the elderly, for unborn children and their mothers, for persons with disabilities, and for all of those who are unable to protect themselves. Remind us that all human beings are sacred to You and that You love each of us. Give us the courage and the strength to protect those who cannot protect themselves and to support leaders who also value and respect life. Ever hopeful that our nation will be more caring towards those who cannot speak for themselves, let our light shine now to illuminate the darkness of the ignorance and prejudice so that in the future we will be known as a nation which respects all life. Amen.
 Dear Lord, help those who have been victimized by crimes of any type to recover their faith and trust in people. May they allow themselves the time and find the strength to overcome feelings that may embitter them. May they find comfort in the assurance that they are not responsible for the harm that has been done to them. Following Your example, may they begin to face the challenge to forgive others through their continued prayer and faith in You. Help them to conquer their fears, calm their anger and anxiety, and heal in mind, body, and spirit. Amen.

The Lord's Prayer
You cannot pray the Lord's Prayer-
            and even once say "I".
You cannot pray the Lord's Prayer-
            and even once say "my".
You cannot pray the Lord's Prayer-
            and not pray for another,
For when you ask for daily bread-
            you must include your brother.
For others are included - in each and every plea,
From beginning to the end of it -
             It does not once say "me".

In dangers, in troubles, in doubts think of Mary, call upon Mary....
If you follow her guidance, you will not go astray.
If you pray to her, you will not give up hope.
If you think of her, you will not do wrong.
If she upholds you, you will not stumble.
If she protects you, you will not be afraid.
If she leads you, you will reach your goal.
St. Bernard of Clairvaux, Cist.,
Doctor of the Church (+ 1153)
I knelt to pray, but not for long,
I had too much to do,
Must hurry off and get to work,
For bills would soon be due,
All through the day, I had no time
To speak a word of cheer,
No time to speak of Christ to friends,
They'd laugh at me, I feared.
No time...too much to do.
That was my constant cry.
No time to give to those in need,
At last 'twas time to die.
And when before the Lord I came,
I stood with downcast eyes,
Within His hands He had a book,
It was the "Book of Life.
"God looked into His book and said,
"Your name I cannot find,
I once was going to write it down,
But never found the time."

"We shall steer safely through every storm, so long as our heart is right, our intention fervent, our courage steadfast, and our trust fixed on God. If at times we are somewhat stunned by the tempest, never fear. Let us take breath, and go afresh."
~St. Francis de Sales
"The path that leads to holiness is the path of prayer; and prayer ought to take root and grow in the soul little by little, like a tiny seed which later develops into a tree with many branches."
~St. Jose Maria Escriva

 Soul of Christ, sanctify me. Body of Christ, heal me.
Blood of Christ, drench me. Water from the side of Christ,
wash me. Passion of Christ, strengthen me.
Good Jesus, hear me. In your wounds, shelter me. From
turning away, keep me. From the evil one, protect me.
At the hour of death, call me. Into your presence lead me,
to praise you with all your saints, forever and ever.

"....dear Lord, you know my weakness. Each morning I resolve to be humble, and in the evening I recognize that I have often been guilty of pride. I wish, therefore, O God, to build all my trust upon Thee. Deign to implant in my soul this virtue which I desire. And to obtain it from Thy Infinite Mercy, I will often say to Thee: Jesus, meek and humble of Heart, make my heart like unto Thine...."
~St. Therese of Lisieux
Ecclesiastes chapter 3 vs 1-8
  1. There is an appointed time for everything,
    and  a time for every affair under the heavens.
  2. A time to be born, and a time to die;
    a time to plant,  and a time to uproot the plant,
  3. A time to kill, and a time to heal;
    a time to tear down, and a time to build,
  4. A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
    a time to mourn, and a time to dance,
  5. A time to scatter stones, and a time to gather them;
    a time to embrace, and a time to be far from embraces,
  6. A time to seek, and a time to lose;
    a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
  7. A time to rend, and a time to sew;
    a time to be silent, and a time to speak;
  8. A time to love, and a time to hate;
    a time of war, and a time of peace.

Mother Mary
~By Chris Gentile

One night as I lay trembling,
Overwhelmed with all my fears,
I said a prayer to Mary.
And I said it most sincere.
"Please help me, Mother Mary,
For I don't know what to do.
So I'm writing down my worries,
And I'm bringing them to you."
Then in my mind's eye I saw,
Our Lady Most Divine,
She looked at me with sadness,
As she reached her hand to mine,
So I handed her my worries,
Which she crumbled in her palm,
And I felt the trembling lessen,
As she helped restore my calm.
Then my Heavenly Mother
Opened wide her mantle blue,
She wrapped it all around me,
For protection, this I knew,
And though no words were spoken,
Mary managed to convey,
Whenever I would need her,
She was just a prayer away.

"To pray for those who are in mortal sin is the best kind of almsgivng. For the love of God, always remember such souls when you pray...."
~St. Teresa of Avila
"Keep your words sweet, you may have to eat them one day." ~Unknown

"Lead me from death to life. From lie to truth. Lead me from despair to hope. From fear to trust. Lead me from hatred to love. From war to peace. May peace fill our hearts, our world, & our universe, peace, peace, peace" ~Mother Teresa
